The RP6 family recycled paper bale moisture meters allow the Humidity measurement quickly and reliably but above all manageable even by non-expert personnel.
The system is based on the physical principle of capacitive coupling and allows the Fast and accurate measurement of moisture inside the recycled paper bale simply by placing the instrument on the
external surface of the bale.
The instrument is equipped with a large and easily readable display even in low light conditions (covered warehouses or holds) or in conditions of strong ambient or outdoor lighting.
The instruments of the RP6 family are equipped with a wide range of accessories and calibration and certification services.
To use the measuring tool simply turn on the RP6 controller by pressing the black button on the handle of the meter. Select the appropriate characteristic curve (e.g. 350 waste paper) and press the measuring plate onto the bale of waste paper.
The is immediately visible on the displayhumidity and temperature. Now there is the possibility to save the measurement result and additional information such as supplier data or other notes. This measurement data can be transmitted to the PC or printed directly on site using the optionally available portable printer.
Furthermore, they can be connected various temperature and air humidity sensors to determine other relevant process parameters.

The measurement of humidity of waste paper and cardboard is essential for managing the recovery and reuse cycle of cellulose-based packaging materials.
Predominantly cellulose packaging is packaging made up of "the major part" of paper material.
Predominantly paper packaging is divided into:
- mono-material packaging, i.e. made up of paper only;
- multi-material packaging, consisting of a main body in paper and components of different materials that can be separated manually;
- polylaminate or composite packaging, structurally made up of different composite materials, which cannot be separated manually.
